Los Angeles-based designer Tadashi Shoji is planning to open his evening gown store next week. The designer confirmed this information to Racked LA, stating that he would open the doors to his new store next Wednesday, June 29.

The store will open at Los Angeles’ shopping plaza Glendale Galleria. The boutique will serve as more than just a retail space, debuting also as a concept area with experimental installations. The shop’s purpose is enrich the customer experience by adding its custom innovations in the decor. The space will be a total of 2,200 square feet and will retail Shoji’s various eveningwear gowns and cocktail dresses. His gowns and ready-to-wear collections vary in price ranging from 298 dollars to 798 dollars.

Shoji’s collections are typically geared towards high-end clientele due to its luxury pricing. By landing at Glendale Galleria, Shoji’s move makes a lot of sense as the shopping centers’ target market aligns with the collections. Shoji founded his eponymous line in 1982 and currently operates boutiques both in United States and China. Currently, Tadashi Shoji is sold throughout over 400 retailers and department stores worldwide.
