Ted Baker London is landing a new storefront in Seattle. The British luxury brand recently unveiled its plan to open a boutique next month.
The store will be a total of 2,960 square feet. The high-end brand currently operates over 20 stores currently in the United States. The brand is known for its designer menswear and womenswear. Ted Baker London retails apparel, bags, suits, shoes, dresses, and more. The new store will be located at shopping plaza Bellevue Square. The store will feature a pastel palette with a decor influenced from Britain’s high tea. The interior will be reflective of the country’s practice of tea parties through its decorative wallpapers and light fixtures. The store opens officially on March 4, although the reason for the store location has not been disclosed to the public.
However, last October, the company stated that it planned to double its retail operations in the next couple of years. Chief executive and founder Ray Kelvin said that the brand plans to extend its retail locations from 416 brick-and-mortar stores to 832 locations. Of these store openings, the brand stated that it was focusing on North American markets. With Seattle as the brand’s newest location, Ted Baker seems to be moving forward with that plan.
