LA’s newest retail concept store, Terminal 27 is officially opening its first-ever location in Beverly Hills on April 27.

Located at 8271 Beverly Blvd, the unique space spans 2,800 square feet and features a boutique, Japanese-inspired café, rotating exhibit and outdoor area for screenings and pop-ups.

The concept store was designed with a five-sense experience, explains the retailer, to offer its “diverse demographic” a curated range of products from ready-to-wear, jewellery, vintage, and furniture from both emerging designers and global fashion houses.

The space aims to “fill a creative void in the LA fashion and art scene,” and will function as a luxury boutique as well as a creative workshop, where designers from fashion, music, technology, architecture and food circles can offer a wide range of exclusive services, and innovative sensory and audiovisual experiences.

The boutique will carry luxury womenswear, menswear, home, vintage archive and in-house label including Marni, Rick Owens, Ottolinger, Maisie Wilen, and Mowalola, curated by creative director Ericka Del Rosario.

The shopping experience will sit alongside a souvenir café where visitors can enjoy Japanese-inspired items such as artisanal toast and sencha tea served in traditional Japanese ceramics while being surrounded by souvenirs, books and small gifts.

Technology is also at the forefront of Terminal 27 as the website, which is still in development, will launch with a ‘passport’ that allows access to exclusive drops, events, and customised experiences.
