The Line officially opens its first West Coast location

Los Angeles - The Line, known as a SoHo-launched e-tailer, recently unveiled plans for a West Coast location. The refined, versatile brand will open a brick-and-mortar store on Melrose Place this Friday, October 16.

The brand currently has one other store in Manhattan’s SoHo. However, this will be The Line’s first West Coast store. “It was always our intention to have these brick-and-mortar locations in more than one city,” Vanessa Traina Snow, executive creative director and co-founder of The Line, told WWD. According to the publication, Snow chose Melrose Place after scouting multiple locations in West Hollywood and downtown L.A. To keep things similar to its New York store’s interior decor, The Line chose the two-story retail space. The space will be entitled The Apartment by the Line. The brand currently offers chic, modern clothing that is influenced by both New York and Los Angeles aesthetics. Retail prices for apparel and accessories stay on the higher side ranging approximately from 320 to 10,500 dollars.

The Line was established a curated e-tailer site by founder Vanessa Traina Snow two years ago. Based in New York, Snow started the business as an e-commerce site selling fashion with a modern, clean style. In addition to fashion, The Line also offers home decor and beauty essentials. Her New York location also doubles as a showroom for the brand. The company currently has about 30 employees and is based in Brooklyn.
