The Mighty Company opens location on Melrose Avenue

Los Angeles-based jacket company The Mighty Company is planning to open a store on Melrose Avenue. As a newly launched online company, the luxury outerwear label is bringing its classic jacket silhouettes to retail.

According to the brand's website, founder Jessie Willner illustrated the collection with fine materials in mind. The jackets are made from premium leathers and metallic tweeds to create a 60's and 50's influence as well as Post-Impressionism style. The new store will retail this collection at its space, boasting 3,200 square feet.

In choosing the location, Willner decided that the space would be ideal for her customer. “That location is just representative of our girl,” Willner told WWD. The space will also be shared with men's brand Bordo and production studio NYLA. With jackets retailing up to approximately 995 dollars, the store will bring its asymmetrical, edgy styles to debut in L.A.
