The new retail and showroom space will be changing from one block to the next. The Park Showroom is planning to move its operations to the California Market Center in the fashion district of Los Angeles.
The showroom first emerged at the Lady Liberty Building in the fashion district eight years ago. Park’s clients that will move with the showroom include Thorocraft, Matiere, Deus Ex Machina, and more. The new showroom move is also accompanied by the brand’s retail move. Seven Points, the company’s boutique, will also move from its location to Silver Lake. Eric Martin, The Park’s founder, stated to Apparel News that Seven Points will “reopen in the first quarter of 2016.” The space is known for its menswear with an edgy, street style. The contemporary brand, known as a retail spot for the “modern gentleman,” includes clothing brands such as Matiere, Barney Cools, Zanerobe, and Wolf & Man. The boutique offers chic outerwear, urban accessories, and utilitarian bottoms. Prices for Seven Points range from 14 to 799 dollars.
The reason for the move was due to the lack of menswear traffic at the building, as most of their brands consist of women’s clothing. “We got plenty of appointments. But we don’t get walk-by traffic,” Martin told Apparel News. Because of the California Market Center’s high-traffic volume on an everyday basis, the new move will hopefully improve sales. Although both the showroom and retail space in Los Angeles are moving, the brand’s offices will remain at the Lady Liberty building.
The Park Showroom is known for its premier multi-line lifestyle showroom. Park is known for showcasing men’s and women’s contemporary clothing. The Park Showroom has locations in both Los Angeles and New York City.
