Los Angeles - Tiny Bandit, collective of Los Angeles designers, just recently hosted another pop-up event. This past Sunday on June 26, founder Beaudoin hosted the temporary boutique at Clutch Annex in Venice.
Beaudoin created the event in Fall 2009 to bring in locals from around the area and expose them to new brands. “It’s a fun and creative way of doing business and moving over stock and samples for brands,” said Beaudoin. The most recent event took place in Venice in partnership with both Service and Supply and Clutch. The event included food, drinks, and a DJ in order to give a full creative experience. The pop-up featured brands curated from designers all of Los Angeles. The reason for bringing Tiny Bandit to Venice is to bring in more customers and exposure to the brands. In the past, the event has brought in hundreds of shoppers that are able to peruse various designer clothing. In the future, Beaudoin expects a similar turn out for all events.
Some of the participating designers for the Sunday event included Greylin, Stone Fox, and BB Dakota. In total, the event featured over a dozen designers from Los Angeles. The designers retailed their apparel from a price point of 20-150 dollars. Because of Tiny Bandit’s success, Beaudoin hosts these types of events 4-6 times a year. Currently, Beaudoin is working on future creative workshops with different artist in Los Angeles. The pop-up event also is working to collaborate with brands in the future.
