Topshop to host Kylie Cosmetics pop-ups

London - High street retailer Topshop has joined forces with reality-tv star Kylie Jenner to launch a string of pop-up stands of her makeup brand Kylie Cosmetics in its US stores.

Currently only available in the US, the Kylie Cosmetics pop-ups will open in seven Topshop stores across the USA at the end of November. The pop-ups, set to open in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Miami, Houston and Atlanta, will offer Kylie Cosmetics famed liquid lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes, blushes and highlighters. The Kylie Cosmetics x Topshop pop-ups will run for one month from November 20 to December 20, just in time for the Christmas season.

Kylie Cosmetics x Topshop pop-ups to launch across the US

The Kylie Cosmetics x Topshop tie-up marks the first time the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sibling launches her beauty line in a brick-and-mortar setting and sees Topshop becoming the first retailer to offer Kylie Cosmetics. Previously Jenner only sold her Kylie Cosmetics line through her direct channels online. To mark this occasion, Jenner has created an exclusive range of lipsticks. Available in eight different shades, the lipsticks will be sold in two separate palettes.

"My brand is all about empowering young women and giving them confidence through makeup, and I feel that Topshop shares that same mission," said Jenner to WWD, stressing that she is a longtime fan of the brand. "My own pop-up shops have been so successful and I can’t wait to bring the Kylie Cosmetics Pop-up experience to more of my fans across the country." In order to ensure Topshop fans in the UK do not feel too left out, the high street retailer has also launched a prize draw for local shoppers online.

Kylie Cosmetics is best known for its signature lip kits, which retail for 29 dollars (21.60 pounds) as well as its stand-alone liquid lipsticks which tend to sell out online. The beauty brand previously opened two stand-alone pop-up stores in the US, with the first one opening in Westfield Toping Mall, Los Angeles last December and the second one in New York in February. The beauty label has become a runaway success, recording estimated revenues of more 400 million dollars (298.8 million pounds) in the 18 months since it launched.

Topshop first launched its own beauty line in back 2010 and has been expanding beauty category over the past year to include third-party brands. The Kylie Cosmetics x Topshop tie-up is not the first time Jenner has worked with the fashion retailer. Topshop previously offered the Kendell + Kylie clothing collection, a line created by Kylie Jenner together with her sister, it-model Kendall Jenner.
