Trina Turk's Los Angeles flagship opens

Los Angeles - After announcing the return to Los Angeles, Trina Turk has opened its doors on shopping and dining strip Larchmont. The space, off of Larchmont Boulevard, opened over the weekend.
The space encompasses 2,000 square feet with a glass store front. The interior comes from Bestor Architecture to help create a modern, West Coast ambience. Similar to her other flagship in Palm Springs, the store has white and ivory accents with brass furnishings, according to WWD. “We’re adding a custom wallpaper that’s an ombré from light beige to aqua because we wanted it to feel, like, beach,” Turk told the publication. Keeping in theme with her lively, summer-influenced apparel, the store accurately reflects its merchandise.
The store opened after Turk closed down her Los Angeles flagship in 2015. The flagship, which opened on Third Street, had closed without any warning. There was speculation that the brand would relocate somewhere else in Los Angeles, but no confirmations. Two years later, the Larchmont store serves as Turk’s long-awaited return to the city. This will mark the store’s 12th location, after opening retail fronts in Palm Springs, New York, Miami, Dallas, and more.
