Vanessa Seward to open more retail locations this year

Ready-to-wear label Vanessa Seward is planning for some retail expansion this year. The namesake label, founded by Vanessa Seward, just opened up a new shop in Paris and plans to open two more boutiques later in the year.

The newest boutique just opened in Marais in France boasting 800 square feet. The show bows on Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire. The shop will also feature an event in which the designer will be able to spend hands-on time with her employees. On Thursday, February 11, Seward will make an appearance at the shop and help as a shop assistant with her retail staff. “This way I can get to know the sales team and they can get to know me,” Seward told WWD. This isn’t the first time Seward has done an event like this. In September, she also did something similar right before shows. “[It’s] the best way to understand that in the end it’s about the customer,” she told the publication.

Vanessa Seward is known as a high-end fashion brand with an edgy, contemporary style. The line includes ready-to-wear apparel, shoes, bags, accessories and more. The France boutique serves as the company’s newest flagship. However, the brand has confirmed to WWD that it will be opening a new shop in Los Angeles off of Melrose Place. The shop will open sometime this summer. Additionally, Vanessa Seward is to open another Paris flagship later this fall.
