Velvet by Graham and Spencer, contemporary apparel line, announced it will be coming to Culver City in the fall. The brand will bring its collections to Platform, the city’s newest luxury lifestyle center underway.

Platform is still in development by the Runyon Group. According to LA Racked, the retail center will have shops including brands such as Aesop, Carven, Curve, and SoulCycle. Velvet by Graham and Spencer was one of the more recent companies to join the roster. The headquarters of the brand is located right across the street from Runyon Group, according to the publication. Velvet by Graham and Spencer will offer “an exciting connection between their design studios and the brand’s customers,” Runyon Group told the publication. The set date is not yet announced, but the boutique is expected to open in the fall.

Velvet by Graham and Spencer is a contemporary clothing line that launched in 1997. Founders and creative directors Jenny Graham and Toni Spencer came together to bring the brand to what it is today. The clothing includes sharp tailoring, chic silhouettes, and stylish basics that make up the brand’s aesthetic makeup. The line is known for its laid-back style influenced by the city of Los Angeles. The brand is also iconic for their use of fine fabrics and materials. Their clothing is primarily manufactured in the United States. Their items range in price roughly from about 53 to 297 dollars. The company has about 51-200 employees currently and is offered at various retailers such as Anthropologie, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and more.
