Lifestyle sportswear brand Veronica Beard just opened its first location in Los Angeles. Known for its signature Dickey Jacket, the label just confirmed a 1,800 square foot space debuting on Melrose Place.

The elevated American label will open this store as its fourth in the U.S. since its establishment in two years ago. “Retail expansion is key to our current growth strategy,” Veronica Miele Beard, co-designer of the brand told WWD of the store opening. By targeting Melrose Place, a popular shopping destination of Los Angeles, the lifestyle brand could serve to make a name for itself in the West Coast market. Veronica Beard already has existing stores in major markets such as New York City and Dallas, with seemingly more expansion to grow more in the U.S. With the newest addition, it seems the brand is really moving towards a bi-costal effort, to improve sales on a nationwide level.

The new store officially opened this Thursday, February 23. Founded by Beard and her sister Swanson Beard, the two have created a modern take on everyday staples with tailored, polished pieces. Along with its in-house brand, the store will also carry a range of accessories, handbags, and more from brands such as Clare V., Dannijo, and more. "For Melrose Place, we selected a range of merchandise and third-party product that fits the lifestyles of our customers in Los Angeles , which is our biggest market after New York," Swanson Beard told WWD.
