Wet Seal to open 13 pop-ups for holiday season

Youthful women’s retailer Wet Seal is set to expand in its retail presence this holiday season. During this fall, the contemporary fashion brand will open 13 pop-up locations throughout the U.S.

The temporary locations will all open next month on Thursday, November 3. The brick-and-mortar pop-ups will be in between 3,000 to 5,000 square feet. The stores will include contemporary fashion merchandise as well as holiday gift items. The shops will open in the following cities: Tucson, AZ; Altamonte, FL; Alpharetta, GA; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, GA; Columbus, GA; Northbrook, IL; Woodbridge, NJ; Norman, OK; Oklahoma City, OK; Lancaster, PA; and Spokane, WA.

The retail shops were an idea from the company’s chief executive officer, Melanie Cox. “We see an opportunity for additional brick and mortar locations during the peak holiday season,” Cox said in a statement. Because customers have reached out for more Wet Seal locations in their local areas, the womenswear brand has attempted to meet that request. The shops will remain open throughout the holiday retail season, although no set end date has been announced.
