Wittmore, menswear e-tailer, recently opened its second bricks-and-mortar store in downtown Los Angeles. The new boutique is one of first to grace “The Yards at One Santa Fe,” an upcoming retail center still under development.
The interior of the store has a rustic feel with white pine woodwork and fixtures. The doors are glass and the wood is vintage concrete. The new space will occupy about 1,000 square feet. Overall, the interior aesthetic is driven from modern and bohemian fusion. Wittmore will carry over 30 brands including Officine Generale, Levi’s Vintage Clothing, Creep by Hiroshi Awai, Stanley & Sons, and more.
The new space also has a corner specifically designated for pop-ups and temporary works. The flagship will also come with a Levi’s Vintage exhibit attached to it. The first fashion installation will involve a group show that will reflect Levi’s early denim works. The designs will involve illustrations from Christian Webber and Tommy Ton.
Wittmore is known for its modern and edgy styles for menswear. Paul Witt founded the popular menswear brand originally as an exclusive online-only retailer. Witt worked in the fashion industry for over 16 years before creating the Wittmore business. This opening will be Wittmore's second location. Wittmore's first bricks-and-mortar opened in Beverly Grove.
