Zoey Reva, the Florida based designer who launched her 11-piece-capsule collection, is a firm believer in direct-to-consumer. So much so, that is the approach the designer took for her first collection for the line.

Her first collection includes bell-sleeve lace tops, dresses, and shorts. The price points for her line range from 115 dollars for shorts to 254 dollars for a lace romper.

Reva comes from a fashion influenced family, so it was just a matter of time before she took her own dip in the world of fashion business. Her mother owns a modeling agency, and while Reva originally intended to be a stylist, she found herself in the world of design.

Currently, her customer base is very young and millennial. The average age of her customers is from 18 to 25.

The designer is unique for having her garments made in Miami, which is not a place where a lot of designers do manufacturing. While she has started with a direct-to-consumer approach, Reva intends to expand on her wholesale model.

The company estimates sales of 300,000 dollars for their first year.
