In order to increase our visibility nationally and internationally in the fashion & luxury industry and to offer new projects and immersions to our students, EIDM signed a partnership with Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW).

Monte Carlo Fashion Week

Led by the Monaco Fashion Chamber, Monte-Carlo Fashion Week is the reference in terms of fashion & luxury events in the principality of Monaco. Created in 2013 and chaired by Federica Nardoni Spinetta, Monte-Carlo fashion week aims to highlight international creators and designers every year since its creation, through several exceptional shows and meetings. For the 2024 edition which took place from April 22 to 26, EIDM decided to partner with Monte-Carlo fashion week: participation of our students in a series of conferences on sustainable & inclusive fashion, and contribution to organize the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week Awards ceremony within the Monaco Yacht Club.

On the program of the partnership between EIDM and Monte-Carlo Fashion Week

“We are really delighted to have EIDM school this year and to have signed this partnership. This year, we have around thirty students from EIDM who are involved in the entire organization part of an event. It is important for them to really enter into the professional world and for us, it is something beautiful to pass on know-how to future generations”, Federica Nardoni Spinetta - President & founder of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week. A total of thirty (30) students from the Nice, Paris and Distance Learning campuses were selected to participate in this exceptional experience, in an international context for which mastery of English was a prerequisite. For the missions held by our students and as Mégane Simon - Brand Manager of EIDM indicates, “this partnership allows EIDM students to participate exclusively in the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week fashion shows on two different missions. On one hand, artistic direction missions with the possibility of integrating this Fashion Week as backstage assistants. On the other hand, communications missions with the opportunity to act as assistants in the press offices”.
