Italian leather goods brand Furla has launched the Lynette, a bag reintroduced from its historical archive, during Milan Fashion Week. It is the brand's first archival revival, a step that comes ahead of Furla's centenary in 2027.
The Lynette was presented as a Milan Fashion Week exclusive on September 24, 2026, at an event titled 'Furla Cinemania'. According to the brand, the style has been reimagined for a new generation, linking its history with a contemporary attitude.
Design and archive details
The Lynette has a relaxed hobo silhouette with a softly structured shape, two maxi zip pockets across the front, layered leather details and artisanal finishes. Adjustable straps at the base allow the bag to be expanded or cinched, and it closes with a zip.
For its fashion week debut, the bag is presented in a textured suede version and in the small size, in the colours Cioccolato, Cognac, Winter Bloom, Senape Yellow and Cobalto Blue. The style is also available in two larger sizes.
Each bag is individually numbered and carries an internal metal label reading 'Furla Archivio'. A leather tag shows the Furla lettering on the front and 'Milan Fashion Week Furla Archivio' on the reverse. During fashion month, the Lynette is available exclusively in Furla stores in Milan and Florence and online.
Cinema as the event concept
The event took place at Il Foyer alla Scala, overlooking Piazza della Scala in the centre of Milan. It drew on the brand's 'Iconic Drama' universe, the concept behind its fall/winter 2026 campaign, which brings together fashion, entertainment and Italian storytelling.
The venue was set up to recreate the atmosphere of a film première, with a red velvet carpet, a paparazzi moment and a 'Walk of Stars' referencing the glamour of Hollywood. A 'Glam Cam' captured guests in personalised videos, while oversized movie-style posters featuring the Lynette were placed throughout the space.
Furla also created a capsule of four cinema-inspired charms for the occasion: a popcorn bucket, silver 3D glasses, a soda cup and a clapperboard. The charms were styled with the bags and worn by guests during the evening.
International guest list
The event brought together an international group of fashion and lifestyle media, talent, key opinion leaders and friends of the brand. Italian model Mariacarla Boscono, Dutch model Yasmin Wijnaldum and Spanish actress and singer Begoña Vargas attended carrying the Lynette from the limited-edition collection.
K-pop boy group Keyvitup, a five-member group that debuted in April 2026 under the label iNKODE, also attended. The group was launched by K-pop singer and actor Kim Jae Joong. From the film industry, guests included Eva Cela and Noémie Saglio-Dru.
According to Furla, the event reflects its aim to bring its heritage into contemporary culture and to support emerging talent, bringing together established names and new voices across fashion, cinema, music and popular culture.
