US eyewear brand Ray-Ban, part of EssilorLuxottica, has released a special-edition collection with Marvel. The sunglasses and optical frames are based on four characters: Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Doom and Deadpool.
The collection is available in stores and online through selected retailers, ahead of the cinema release of Marvel Studios' 'Avengers: Doomsday' on December 18, 2026.
Four classic frames
Each character is paired with an existing Ray-Ban shape. The Aviator Max refers to Captain America, with red, white and blue metal temples and a leather bridge cover featuring a star. The Wayfarer Folding takes on Spider-Man's codes, with a web-wrapped logo and a message engraved on the bridge hinge.
The Bill Max, linked to Doctor Doom, comes in gold and green metal with laser-cut details. The RB2228 references Deadpool through a metallic gradient and anti-slip temple tips inspired by his costume.
Styles for kids
The line-up also includes a kids' range: red Spider-Man sunglasses with a web motif and lanyard, Spider-Man optical frames with clip-on sun lenses, and a red Mini Aviator with blue lenses and Captain America shield graphics.
