Reebok: Collaborative Product Series with Latin rapper-singer Anuel AA

A special footwear capsule offers a creative journey through the Latin rapper-singer’s past, present, and future.

Reebok, the iconic and irreverent sports culture brand, and Latin rapper-singer and brand partner Anuel AA, announced a collaborative product series titled “Soy Leyenda” (“I Am Legend”). Chapter 1 of the series, “I Will Be Legend”, explores Anuel’s past via a full-family footwear offering available beginning July 12, 2024.

Anuel and Reebok officially joined forces in June of 2023, kicking off a long-term partnership that would take shape across various product collection, and special projects.

“Soy Leyenda”, Reebok and Anuel’s first official product collaboration, will take consumers on a journey through the artist’s past, present, and future, through a creative lens. Each installment from the capsule will signify a different era of Anuel’s path to becoming a legend.

“Being a “legend” means more than just reaching some level of cultural status,” explained Anuel. “It means you’re leaving an impact on future generations. I’ve had so many role models in my life who have shaped my character and my dreams, and I’m so thankful for them. They’re a big part of my story, this partnership, and this amazing product.”

Part one of the collection, “I Will Be Legend”, leverage’s Reebok’s classic footwear models to celebrate Anuel’s early ambitions of one day selling out stadiums - dreams that shaped his bold aesthetic today, his high-energy stage presence, larger-than-life performances, and emotionally charged music that leaves fans with a lasting sense of euphoria and connection. Those elements are thoughtfully captured on footwear through high-vis design execution and details:

Classic Leather “I Will Be Legend” (€100) Inspired by the energizing stage lights, pyrotechnics, and moto props featured in Anuel’s shows, this Classic Leather features a premium leather upper, custom window box with Anuel’s signature “ Brrrrrr” adlib, a Puerto Rican flag on the inside tongue label, a custom “Anuel” debossed heel tab, custom graphic sock liners, a textured color-blocked outsole, and more. Available in adult (unisex) and kids’ grade school sizing.

BB4000 II “I Will Be Legend” €120) This explosive take on the iconic BB4000 II basketball shoe pays homage to Anuel’s performances and love for the game, featuring premium leather and nubuck suede overlays on the upper, a custom 3D chrome Vector logo, Puerto Rican flag on the inside tongue label, custom graphic woven label on heel, a multi-colored speckled midsole, custom graphic sock liners, and more, arriving in custom Anuel packaging. Available in adult sizing.
