Inspired by the personalities that captured Monsieur Dior’s imagination, Cordelia de Castellane embarks on a poetic journey into the fascinating world of shows. From theater to ballet, the Baby Dior Cruise 2026 collection is an exploration of behind-the-scenes, paying tribute to a unique passion always cultivated by the founding couturier.
The Artistic Director highlights some of his muses in three thrilling stories that unfold like a magical opera, punctuated by contrasting materials and carefully studied volumes.
The first act, named Ida and Rudolf, celebrates the extravagance of the Roaring Twenties. Sophisticated coats team up with lurex-speckled knitwear, evoking baroque opulence. Romantic bees embellish the girls’ pieces with refinement. The color ochre brings a marvelously audacious touch and flourishes on loose pants and cardigans made in cozy wool or corduroy. Infinitely graceful in pastel pink, the crepe dresses, long skirts, and fur-effect jackets are finished with decorative buttons. For the boys, this modern spirit is expressed in every detail: floral camouflage prints, delicate flannel, the graphic “Dior” logo, and precious textures.
The universe of ballet inspires the second act – entitled Margot and Maurice – and initiates a chapter full of contrasts, accentuated by the duality of black and white. Chiffons and tulles sketch airy silhouettes, while structured coats add softness and warmth to each look. Recalling the heritage of Dior, the four-leaf clover – a symbol of luck – blooms on a series of models, including wool sweaters. A ribbon print metamorphoses the “Dior” signature, adorning T-shirts and dresses in turn – a motif transformed into a tag version for little boys, where its swirls are drawn in a street spirit. Loose pants are paired with “Dior”-branded bomber jackets, outlining the contours of an ultra-contemporary wardrobe.
The final act – Sarah and Sacha – pays a fascinating homage to the 1920s. The dresses come in devoré velvet, while an Art Deco-inspired print illuminates tops and pants in pastel shades. Promising elegance, the Bar jacket is transformed into bold yellow lurex tweed, with some creations punctuated by the “Dior” logo or the bee embroidered in tone-on-tone. The boys’ universe consists of reversible sleeveless jackets and comfortable sweaters in beige hues, combined with tops and fluid pants. A more casual selection features the exclusive Lily of the Valley motif, exalting Christian Dior’s lucky charm and introducing a floral touch to everyday essentials.
The ultimate surprise comes in the form of exceptional accessories to complete each outfit: leather bags adorned with oversized bows and adorable animal-shaped Gabriel and Bobby charms to attach to tote bags.
A joyful statement of elegance for children of today, in the eternal style of Dior.
