Maison Martin Margiela for H&M?

It seems that Swedish fast-fashion brand H&M is taking an avant-garde route for its next

designer collaboration, as according to rumours Maison Martin Margiela will be the retailers next guest designer.

According to WWD’s sources Maison Martin Margiela will create a one-off collection and that the news would be confirmed very soon. However, a spokeswoman for H&M in response to the US fashion newspaper said: "We never comment on rumours.”

This will not be the first time the Swedish retail giant has linked with luxury labels. Recently their collaboration with Italian fashion house Marni saw queues developing outside its stores overnight, and the retailer also had similar excitement around its collaborations with Versace and Lanvin.
