About the Position
The Assistant Surface Execution Colorist has overall responsibility to assist in the accuracy and consistency of color for solids, prints and patterns, sweaters, accessory solids, and accessory prints and patterns for the company, consistent with the market positioning of Lilly Pulitzer. The responsibility of color accuracy and consistency includes all fabrications and accessory opportunities.

Develop product with design and technical design that meets the needs of the consumer, aesthetic requirements, corporate margin, delivery goals, and first quality goods to achieve total Company Net Sales.
Provide technical color expertise to the brand by understanding of color depth, value, saturation, cast and how to mix color.
Track all solid lab dips and print and pattern strike offs.
Assist in sending and saving color comments and approvals
Maintain lab dip and strike off reference library.
Assist in the sublimation lab as needed during peak timing.

Qualifications for the Position
A four-year college degree is required, preferably with a major/minor within fashion and/or textile design, interior design, or a closely related subject appropriate for color.
1+ years of Color experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
Light Box experience a is must, Spectrophotometer experience is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with personal computers in a Microsoft Windows environment for Excel and Word is required.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is required. Knowledge of Centric PLM is extremely helpful.
Proficiency in Nedgraphics is beneficial.

A Little More to Know…
This position is classified as full-time, salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.
This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor.
Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
This position requires compliance with Lilly Pulitzer policies and a detailed Code of Conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
This position is reviewed annually.
