Authentic Brands Group and Thalía join forces

Authentic Brands Group (ABG) just recently announced a new partnership. In an effort to further build out the brand, the company has teamed with Latin star Thalía Sodi for her eponymous fashion line.
The two have decided to team together because they both bring specific positive aspects to the partnership. Sodi already has a large following, as she is known for her roles in talent including singing, acting, and also for her social media presence. She currently has over 32 million followers on social media and holds a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Using this as an advantage, ABG plans to strategically grow her brand in a more international way, focusing primarily on the U.S., Latin America, and Southeast Asia. “ABG’s strength in building brands makes me confident that the Thalía brand will be successfully extended into new categories and international markets,” Sodi said in a statement.
Currently, her line Thalía is available at department store Macy’s. The line consists of ready-to-wear apparel, denim, footwear, and accessories. The line has be available exclusively at this retailer since its launch in Spring 2015. In the future with this collaboration, the line will also eventually expand out into new apparel categories such as shapewear and intimates.
