E-commerce site Jane receives 40 million dollars in funding

Lehi, Utah-based Jane, an e-commerce website for womenswear, childrenswear, accessories, and home decor has received 40 million dollars in funding from Tritium partners. Investors are betting big on e-commerce right now as the global coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the growth of e-commerce, especially in the United States.

This is the first round of financing Jane has done since it was founded in 2011. These funds will be used primarily for international expansion and to increase customer service experience on the website. Jane is also hoping to add more categories.

Jane is one of the few retail companies that actually saw a strong year, even with the downturn in the economy brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Year-over-year growth exceeded 80 percent at various points this year.
