MIPEL Lab gets back to New York: The exhibition concept conceived by Assopellettieri from July 19-20 inside and concurrently with Lineapelle New York

Milan, July 12, 2023 - For the second year in a row, the innovative MIPEL Lab exhibition concept replicates in the Big Apple on the occasion of Lineapelle.

New York from July 19-20 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan.

"We are thrilled to be back in New York with MIPEL Lab, thanks to the valuable collaboration with Lineapelle. This is an important appointment, at a time when the U.S. market is proving to be particularly promising for the high-end, which allows us to put our Companies in contact with brands looking for Italian entities able to support them in the conception and realization of their collections according to the highest quality standards," says Franco Gabbrielli, President of Assopellettieri.

A privileged meeting place between luxury brands, designers, international private labels and the excellence of some of Italy's leading leather goods manufacturers, including Tivoli Group Spa and Sapaf Srl. In fact, the two Tuscan companies for two days will give visitors a taste of quality Made in Italy.

"This project represents an opportunity to introduce American brands to Italian producers of quality leather goods, and obviously for us an opportunity to create new collaborative relationships - comments Stefano Giacomelli, CEO of Tivoli Group - On this market, our Group already operates as a 'one-stop' Vendor', a unique partner for the development and production of leather goods: to American customers we offer the skills, quality, technology and expertise of a competent, certified and reliable company, which provides not only products but also an all-round service. We believe it is a great opportunity to get in touch both with brands that already have a leather goods offering and with brands that do not have leather goods in their offerings but want to add them in their collections without having to have a dedicated structure."

"I believe that this format represents a great opportunity for a company like ours that sees the development of collections for private labels as its core business," says Andrea Calistri, master craftsman and Ceo of Sapaf. "Our expertise then, is not limited to the development and production of articles: ours is a turnkey proposal that includes style and research. It is a complete service that allows us to present ourselves as a reliable partner for the creation of luxury leather goods and expert in problem solving. Not to mention that the U.S., at this time, is the reference market for the luxury sector: that is why we are participating in this fair from the first hour and will be for the second year in New York with our business proposals, under the banner of excellence made in Florence."

If the American kermesse lasts only two days, the digital version of MIPEL Lab, on the other hand, is open 365 days a year. A platform that, through an artificial intelligence algorithm, allows local and international luxury brands to connect with the top Italian leather goods manufacturers that can best meet their production needs in real time. Active 24 hours a day, it will continue to 'work' while waiting for the next physical edition of MIPEL Lab, which will be held in Milan from September 19 to 21, 2023, again within and simultaneously with Lineapelle.
