AG Jeans is committing itself to COVID-19 relief, joining the growing list of fashion brands and designers putting their efforts towards relief from the global pandemic.

According to an announcement the Los Angeles-based brand made on April 3 on its Instagram account, AG Jeans will be donating 1M USD to the COVID-19 LA County Response Fund. The fund supports “community clinics and hospitals across the county scale up capacity, staffing & implementation of COVID-19 testing.”

“In these difficult times, it is the encouragement and assistance we give and receive as a community that unifies us,” the post states. “Together we will rise and overcome this global challenge.”

Additionally, the brand will be supporting its own staff by committing continued pay and providing benefits to its company, which counts to approximately 2,000 employees between its affiliate companies in LA, Mexico and each of its retail store locations.
