AR.RT line launching

Designers Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi are launching a new fashion brand called AR.RT. The luxury designers have spent the past few seasons focusing on a minimalistic aesthetic for their luxury label Aquilano.Rimondi, and have decided to take their tastes for bold prints and colors to a new line, AR.RT.

Aquilano and Rimondi's new AR.RT line will offer women's collections, including easy-to-wear designs inspired by the Seventies. The brand will be distributed worldwide and will be at a more accessible price point than their luxury line, about 30 percent lower than Aquilano.Rimondi.

“This is not a second line, but it’s a project allowing us to express the boldest side of our approach to fashion,” said Aquilano to WWD.

“With the Aquilano.Rimondi line we can focus on experimentation, while AR.RT will let us express a more free-spirited point of view,” Rimondi added.

The brand will release two collections a year, and it will include mini skirts, maxi dresses, plisse skirts, elongated t-shirts, suits, and woven shirts.
