In honor of June, which is Pride month, Bloomingdale's and Native Son have teamed up for a capsule collection. Emil Wilbekin, founder of Native Son, has designed a line of Pride inspired t-shirts and caps that will be sold on Bloomingdales.com and at select Bloomingdale's retail stores.

Price points for the items range between 34 dollars and 75 dollars, with ten percent of proceeds being donated to the Native Son Foundation, an organization dedicated to creating safe spaces for gay Black men to foster empowerment and connect with each other.

“Partnering with Bloomingdale’s on this Native Son Pride capsule collection is a brilliant collaboration that amplifies the messaging and mission of inspiration and empowerment for black gay men and the LGBTQ+ community,” Wilbekin said in a statement. “It’s about being proud of who we are, acceptance, equality and inclusion in the world, and supporting gender diversity.”

On June 20, Bloomingdale's will host a launch party for the collection with celebrity stylists Ty Hunter and Jerome Lamaar hosting a Q & A session.

A 2015 report by LGBT capital estimated the gay community's global buying power at 3.7 trillion a year. As a result, company's have mad it a focus to market to LGBT customers, especially during pride month, to get their hands on a piece of the market share.
