With New York Fashion Week just around the corner, brands who are showing off-site from the main Spring Studios venue are starting to announce their locations. Coach has announced that they will be showing their spring/summer 2020 collection at High Line Park, continuing their commitment to the High Line, where their New York corporate offices are also located. The show will take place at the Spur and Coach passage, the newest section of High Line Park. The news first broke on WWD.

“I’m excited to present our spring collection on the High Line, a place that inspires me,” said Coach creative director Stuart Vevers to WWD. “I used to walk to the studio every day on the High Line. I love the industrial railroad history that has been transformed into the green heart of downtown New York. To me, it’s a powerful symbol of New York’s ever-evolving history, and I’m proud to celebrate what makes it special and continue our long-standing support of the park."

The Coach Passage was named in honor of all of Coach's various gifts toward the High Line, while the Spur section featuring the Plinth includes a section for large-scale contemporary art work commissions. Over the past nine years, Coach has donated over 7 million dollars to Friend of the High Line, the nonprofit organization that operates the park. In honor of the runway show, Coach will be donating to the High Line's Adopt a Plant program.
