Francesca Versace, the daughter of Versace president and co-chief executive officer Santo Versace, has decided that she would like add a new line to her resume. The stylish woman is stepping into the fashion industry with her own line of handbags.

Before you accuse this woman of achieving success because of nepotism, she has the fashion credentials to back up her aspirations regardless of her last name. After high school, she moved to London, one of the fashion capitals of the world, where she attended the prestigious Central Saint Martins and obtained a degree in fashion design. Central Saint Martins is famous for producing alumni such as John Galliano, Zac Posen, and Giles Deacon.

The handbag line in question will debut tomorrow, January 25, during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week with a presentation.

The line is called f.e.v. taken from the initials of her full name, Francesca Eleonora Versace. She described the line to WWD as a "quintessentially Italian brand." She went on to add that she "was inspired by all the trips around the globe I did with my friends. From each travel, I brought home a series of experiences, feelings and perceptions, which I’m collecting in my bags .”

The collection is produced in Tuscany, and includes about 10 different themes and 30 styles. Price points for the collection range from 324 dollars to 1188 dollars. Materials used in the collection include suede, napa, and luxury exotics.

The bags include crossbody styles, totes, bumbags, and clutches cut to hold I-pad minis, in addition to a backpack that is designed in the shape of a tote. All the pieces are lined with deep blue silk and are embellished with the brand's discreet metallic almond-shaped logo.

Versace has said that she has already seen buyers from North America and Britain interested in the collection. She also says she hopes to eventually expand into other categories like shoes, but she plans to take her business one step at a time. It looks another fashionista from the Versace bloodline has risen to take her throne.
