Gant returns to Yale with 'homecoming' collection

Gant has launched a multi-season partnership with Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, where the brand was founded in 1949.
The collaboration draws on the label's early history on the Yale campus, where the Yale Co-op was the first retailer to stock its button-down shirts. Gant described the partnership as a homecoming rather than a straightforward collaboration, and says the collections are intended to introduce a new generation to Ivy League style.
The fall 2026 collection draws on archival references and campus codes, updating tailoring, heritage fabrics and varsity-inspired shapes with modern proportions and vintage-inspired lettering.
Menswear includes Letterman knitwear, tailored tweed blazers in British wool and Italian cotton chinos, alongside the brand's Oxford shirts, wool corduroy suits and a leather varsity jacket. Womenswear features a hand-stitched pinstripe club blazer, a leather pleated skirt, varsity-inspired outerwear, heavyweight ruggers and cardigans.
The campaign was shot on the Yale campus, using the university's architecture and collegiate settings as a backdrop.
The capsule collection launched Monday in selected Gant stores, on gant.com and through selected wholesale partners. Gant operates more than 700 stores across 80 markets and employs over 1,700 people.
