Luxury fashion accessories brand Jimmy Choo has confirmed that it is collaborating with French fashion house Jean Paul Gaultier.
In a short statement, Jimmy Choo said it was working with Jean Paul Gaultier on an exclusive capsule collection of footwear, which will be available in selected stores globally and online in October.
Further details about the collection are limited, just that the Jimmy Choo / Jean Paul Gaultier collection will be co-designed by the house's respective creative directors - Sandra Choi and Florence Tétier with “a strong reference on both brands archival legacies”.
Both brands added: “The collaboration fuses two creative identities founded on a shared vision of powerful, confident and glamourous femininity.”
News of the footwear collaboration comes days after Simone Rocha was announced as the next guest designer for the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show. The UK-based designer will present her collection for the brand in Paris in January 2024.
