Lauren Conrad showing at NYFW

Former reality TV star Lauren Conrad, whose claim to fame includes "Laguna Beach", and its spinoff series where she was the main star, "The Hills", will be showing at NYFW next month. Conrad will have the privilege of debuting her limited edition capsule collection for Kohl's during one of the most high profile events on the fashion calendar all year. For those who might be ready to purchase Conrad's collection straight off the runway don't worry about having any patience, because the collection will be available for sale immediately after the show.

Price points for the collection range from 12 dollars to 200 dollars. The newly created website LCRunway.com will stream the show live on September 7 at 7 p.m. This is Conrad's first return to the runway after her attempt at showing a collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2008 which received very negative reviews from critics and was called "sad,bizarre" by New York Magazine. It was attended by her former cast mates from "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills", and while the reality TV star studded crowd was enough to bring in the press, she certainly didn't get the kind of press she was hoping for.

As for those thirsting for a bit of reality TV drama, you'll be able to tune into a live-stream pre-show before the runway show begins to catch a glimpse of what's going on backstage and to catch an exclusive interview with Conrad and several of her friends who have yet to be announced by name. On the site for the collection, Conrad has described it as "straight off the streets of New York... into this wonderland." Kohl's says the collection will feature a "clean, polished and pretty aesthetic" and "dip-dyed hues of forest green and sage, inspired by the mystery and enchantment of the forest."
