Louboutin now offering nude flats

Nude flats are now a hot luxury item thanks to legendary shoe maker Christian Louboutin.

In 2015, Louboutin expanded his selection of nude shoes from five to seven shades. However, in this expansion he ignored what has become a critical staple in the average woman's wardrobe: flats. The designer has finally rectified this and has included a ballerina flat for his "Nudes" collection.

The flat is called the "Solasofia" and is at a price point of 595 dollars. Soft nappa leather was used to create the flats.

No longer will Louboutin's red soles just be equated with ultra high pumps, but, rather, more easily functional offerings for women like flats. The inspiration behind the design of the shoe was the intention of it looking like a second skin.

Details on the flats include a simple ballerina bow and a lack of visible seams. It's a very minimalist approach for a designer who is used to doing things of an edgier nature.
