As winter is slowly on the horizon, brands are slowly rolling out their new seasonal offerings. Mackage has introduced a new 2-way stretch fabric for their light-weight down coat.

The typical down jacket does not allow for stretch so that down feathers and fill stay in the garment. Providing insulation with materials like thinsulate would end up compromising the comfort of the jacket, but Mackage found a way to keep things functional, comfortable, and stylish. The company has designed a technologically advanced woven stretch material that allows for left/right and up/down movement.

Price points for the jackets with the two-way stretch material range from 590 dollars to 850 dollars. The jackets will be available at all Mackage stores and on mackage.com. With the innovative introduction of this new technology, Mackage will be giving their competitors like Moose, Rudsak, and Canada Goose a run for their money this winter.
