After launching its program focused on slow fashion and local artisans in March and a second class of creatives, Madewell and Nest have announced its third class for the Hometown Heroes Collective. Each locally made item will be available on Madewell’s e-commerce site on Sept. 26.

Participants in the next class of Hometown Heroes include San Diego-based jewelry designer Natalie Borton, who creates handmade pieces in limited quantities, lifestyle and home goods designer SIN, who is based in Brooklyn, Cait Courneya, who creates fine art including decorative neck scarves and pillow covers, and visual artists.

Madewell’s Hometown Heroes Collective launched in partnership with Nest as a way to provide a platform for local makers and artisans to grow their small businesses and expand their customer bases through the fashion brand.
