Mango will donate 2 million face masks within the next few days to help stop the COVID-19 pandemic and mitigate the social, economic and public health consequences it is causing. Using its own logistics system, Mango will distribute the two million face masks among various Spanish hospitals, many of which are experiencing shortages of essential medical supplies. The distribution will be carried out following Spanish Ministry of Health guidelines.

Mango counts 15,000 employees worldwide. Many of their stores have closed in the interim to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

Mango is based in Barcelona, Spain, where the country has been hit particularly hard by coronavirus, like many of Europe's major travel destinations. As of this morning, Spain has counted more deaths than China with 3434 deaths recorded. The masks will help reduce the rate of infection and deaths among Spain's medical personnel.
