Milano Fashion Institute joined the Advisory committee of the Sustainable Awards 2022

The Sustainable Fashion Awards is an event that come from few ambition purpose of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana to mark the way towards greater sustainability of all Industrial sectors, not just the Fashion Sector.

Milano Fashion Institute are proud to be selected as one of 28 expertise juries to be in the committee in charge of selecting the finalists.

In 2020, Milano Fashion Institute the planning and training partnership with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana was born, after years of joint work with the Sustainability Committee, and the first University Master in Product Sustainability Management is launched, a unique initiative on a global level.

Through the Master, the next generation of Managers of Fashion & Luxury Sustainability are created, and they will join as Product Sustainability Managers the network of partner companies, among which Moncler, to Valentino, Gucci, and others, in order to address the most compelling challenges of fashion innovation and sustainable turnaround.

In 2022 Camera Nazionale della Moda officially joined the shareholder structure of Milano Fashion Institute and within the Scientific Council, alongside Politecnico di Milano and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

The multidisciplinary approach and the level of specialization represent a source of competitive advantage for sector companies. Milano Fashion Institute Masters are also address to young professionals that are already employed in the sector. The specialized education makes it possible to understand operations down through the supply chain and increase the capacity of dialogue and competences in many corporate departments.
