25-th Moscow Fashion Week took place not only in Gostiny Dvor but also at outdoor-venue from the 22nd to the 27th of October. Over the course of the event dozens of fashion designers presented their collections on three runways. Let us take a look at the top fashion shows of the previous week.

THE "SECTION" CONCEPT STORE IN THE MOSCOW METRO

The opening day of the 25th Moscow Fashion Week featured one of the most longed-for fashion shows. It took place on the Delovoy Tsentr metro station, with the Moscow Metro being one of the strategic partners of the Moscow Fashion Week this season. The show location set a vector for the whole event: ironically enough, young Russian fashion designers gained a new understanding of businesslike behavior, business processes, archaic working plots, and career growth.

The fashion show was organized as a full-scale performance taking place in an improvised giant office. The "Section" concept store presented more than sixty outstanding design patterns. Well-known fashion designers such as Daniil Antsiferov, Rosbalet, Kruzhok, RUSHEV, Sorry I’m not, Etudes, Carne Bollente, Li-Lu, Husky, Isabel Marant, A.P.C., Helmut Lang, Opening Ceremony, Suncoo, and Subterranei presented their collections of clothes, shoes, and accessories.

Moscow’s starring celebrities including Vlad Lisovets, Vasiliy Akkerman, Sergey Haluus, Panya Kirillina, Anastasia Tairi and many other famous people participated in the show.

The evening program was dominated by the interactive musical performance by Andrey Lee, often referred to as "The CEO of Everything". A wide screen broadcasted him as he named the people entering the show and gave short recommendations on business development. When all the guests had gathered in the hall, Andrey finally gave the signal for the show to begin and joined the guests near the runway. At the end of the fashion show "The CEO of Everything" played his own DJ-set to the great delight of the 'office' audience.

BORISMAMA

The new BORISMAMA collection is the result of a long internal transformation of Ulyana Donskikh and a reflection of her inner world through the prism of the designer's art. Her new collection featured real womanhood, sensuality, delicacy, some nonchalance, and the freedom to show who you really are. Such is Ulyana's view of a woman who is willing to open her soul to the world and let others perceive freedom and real femininity.

LOVE AND SWEETS

The confectionery network "Love and Sweets" presented its new collection "Sweets Fashion SS 19/20". The collection was based on the most up-to-date fashion trends but the garments and accessories were all… eatable! Shoes, bags, sneakers, and even the Koons' Dog! Surrealism, geometrical figures and neon colors were the main features of the collection.

The "Sweets Fashion SS 19/20" show was prepared by the famous show stage-manager Artyom Krivda. Not only models but also the confectionery network's starring friends including Ayza Anokhina, Aleksandr Goudkov, Ekaterina Volkova and a few others walked along the runway with cakes in their hands.

ILYA SHIYAN

ILYA SHIYAN also presented his Spring/Summer collection 2020 at the Moscow Fashion Week.

The show was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It was created in collaboration with TV host and documentaries reviewer Valdis Pelsh. The story of the American painter Phil Brinkman and of the "Zodiac" squadron told by Valdis Pelsh set the tone for the entire performance. Valdis Pelsh (TV host, musician and showman), Vladimir Sychyov (cinema and TV actor), and Dmitriy Grachyov (actor and Comedy Club comedian) participated in the event.

VOLKY

VOLKY presented its new and longed-for autumn and winter collection at the Moscow Fashion Week. Models demonstrated sport-chic and casual outdoor clothes for ambitious and successful young people.

In the new season VOLKY addressed animalistic patterns once again. Warm jackets and parkas with leopard print added a bright accent to the collection. The clothes had eco and natural fur trimming as well as glossy fabrics and a wide range of glittering neon colors, which definitely made every trendy design pattern stand out in the crowd.

ELENA LETUCHAYA

During the Moscow Fashion Week Elena Letuchaya came out with her own clothes collection for the first time. Having spent much time and effort in search of ideal clothes for herself, Elena decided to launch a project aimed at providing everyone with clothes they would be eager to put on.

The wise old saying 'everything of genius is simple' is what describes this collection best: a little black dress and basic clothes are meant to solve the problem of all women who have "nothing to put on". Everything that Elena Letuchaya created for her own needs is now available for purchase in the Letuchiy shop.

LA STORY STORE

The LA Story brand was founded by the singer Anna Sedokova in 2014. From the very beginning, her clothes featured bright colors, looked naturally sexy, and were strongly influenced by the Los Angeles fashion trends.

LA Story is the first Russian brand to present the New York street-style and the rebellious fashion style of other large cities on the Russian market. This company was the first one to introduce real volume, oversize, and unisex clothes to its customers. The fashion designers of this brand feel free to experiment with shapes, and their style propagates freedom of action and self-expression. They have no fear of demonstrating their real nature.
