Mytheresa.com launches Gucci's DIY sneaker service

London - Mytheresa.com is the first luxury online retailer to launch Gucci's DIY (Do It Yourself) service online, offering customers the chance to personalize Ace leather trainers from the luxury fashion house. Customers will be able to customise Gucci's Ace trainers with their own initials in one of the six featured colours.

Each pair of Ace trainers will be customized separately, as customers are able to select from a wide range of personalization options such as stitching initials with or without dots on one or both shoes, selecting different letters as well as colours on each shoe. Embroidery colours offered include light blue, gold, pink, green, silver and orange.

In order to offer customers this unique personalisation option, Mytheresa.com teamed up with Embodee Corp, who virtualised Gucci's Ace trainers into a 3D model, which can be viewed online in vivid detail from any perspective on all devices.

The Gucci DIY Ace leather trainers are available on Mytheres.com from October 25 for 2 weeks. The Personalised Gucci Ace trainers are set to retail at 595 euros in all variations.
