Nick Graham appears to be a fan of childhood educational television personality, Bill Nye the Science Guy. Graham met Nye through his association with British physicist Brian Cox and Infinite Monkey Cage on the BBC. Now, Graham and Nye have released a bow tie collaboration together.

“I grew up watching him with my kids,” Graham said to WWD. “So I went up to him and asked if he wanted to do a bow tie line and he said, ‘Of course!’ He is Mr. Bow Tie and is probably the most visible person in the world who wears bow ties.”

The limited-edition collection was released today. It’s perfect timing as Nye’s new book about climate change, “Unstoppable,” is being released.

The collection will include patterns like the periodic table, Nye’s head, polka dots, and stripes. It’s everything that will give those who grew up watching Bill Nye the Science Guy childhood nostalgia. The collection will be sold on Graham’s website, in addition to being sold in unique locations like the American Museum of Natural History’s gift shop.

According to Graham, Nye was heavily involved in the design of the ties. The price point for the ties is 49 dollars and 50 cents. 10 percent of the proceeds will go towards the Planetary Society, Nye’s non-profit organization that’s devoted to looking for life on other planets.
