For 18 years Parke & Ronen has produced swimwear and ready-to-wear, but, now, the brand has ventured off into doing underwear. Parke Lutter, one of the two co-founders of Parke & Ronen, along with Ronen Jehezkel, says that the line has been a few years in the making. For their first collection, the brand is going the simple route.

The collection consists of two styles — a brief and a trunk — with a logo waistband that comes in five colors, including black, navy blue, white, grey, and charcoal. The underwear is made from a breathable cotton-spandex fiber blend, allowing for maximum comfort.

Price points for the line range from 28 to 30 dollars, and is available at Parke & Ronen's boutique in New York City, as well as their e-commerce website, parkenandronen.com. The line will also be distributed in specialty clothing boutiques like Citizen Clothing in San Francisco, Cali. and L.A. Sporting Club in Los Angeles, Cali.

Lutter told WWD that in the future the line will include more prints, which is a staple of Parke & Ronen's aesthetic.

Their runway show at NYFW: Men's in July, the brand proved that they know a thing or two about doing crazy funky patterns without edging too far towards any extreme or over the top looks. Their spring/summer collection was like the psychedelic seventies with profound patterns, showing that the brand keeps things exciting and original.

Currently, one of the brand's top priorities is international expansion. They recently added a global shopping option on their website, in addition to opening accounts with resort and hotel retailers around the globe. The highest demand for their brand is coming from the U.K. Brazil, Australia, and Spain. After re-opening their Melrose unit last year, which they operate on a seasonal basis, they are currently looking for a permanent retail location in the Los Angeles area.
