Pebble changes aesthetic for smartwatch

Smartwatch creator Pebble has given their product a brand new look. The new Pebble Time Round is the first time that the company has created a smartwatch that has a round face, resulting in a more fashion chic look. It is also the world's lightest and thinnest smartwatch at 7.5 millimeter.

The Pebble smartwatch originally launched with a traditional rectangular design in 2012, with what was lauded as the most successful Kickstarter campaign in history. This new design marks the fifth smartwatch in the company's lineup of smartwatches. The new watch comes in two band sizes, 14 or 20 millimeter, three finishes including rose gold, black, and silver, and a range of leather and stainless steel bands. The watch boasts a two day battery life and is compatible with both i-Phones and Androids.

Pebble's original smartwatch was only 99 dollars, but, as smartwatches have become a more desired item by the traditional fashion crowd, the company has adjusted accordingly and proceeded with the customization option making it more of a fashion accessory.

Pebble Time Round doesn't become available in the U.S. until November, but, in the meantime, it can be pre-ordered at Pebble.com, Best Buy, Target, and Amazon.
