Scotch and Soda, the Amsterdam-based youth focused fashion company, will be making an appearance at New York Fashion Week this upcoming season. The brand will be making their debut presentation in February 2016 for their fall/winter 2016 line for both men's and women's wear.

Founded in 2001, the brand has spent the past several years working to expand their global presence and appeal. This year, they opened a new store in Greenwich Village in New York City. At the time, the brand announced plans to open more stores in Manhattan neighborhoods, and potentially even Brooklyn, which are all still under works.

Scotch and Soda currently boasts a total of 148 stores worldwide, with 4 stores in New York, and 24 throughout the United States.

No further details about the presentation have been released yet, but similar to how Gant, which is popular in Europe ushered in the next era of their brand with a NYFW presentation, Scotch & Soda is expected to follow in similar footsteps. Fashion Week presentations have become a great way for brands to say we're entering our next phase of growth and here we are.

In a statement, Adam Kakembo, Scotch & Soda's chief marketing officer, said "Scotch & Soda collections have carved out a lovely space in the market place, full of stylish followers. We’ll now start telling more people about our story and showing during New York Fashion Week plays a key role in our journey."
