Ukrainian Fashion Week SS27 is set to take place in Kyiv from 2 to 6 September 2026, featuring 50 Ukrainian fashion brands on the official schedule across runway shows, presentations, trade show and re-see formats.
In the face of the harsh realities of the full-scale war, this season of Ukrainian Fashion Week reflects the enduring vitality of the Ukrainian fashion industry. The official schedule captures Ukrainian fashion as it exists today – vibrant, dynamic and continuing to evolve despite the challenges it faces. The season brings emerging designers together with established brands, placing new voices alongside those who have been shaping the industry for decades.
“This season feels particularly special. After an exhausting winter and a summer of relentless attacks, we are bringing together brands that continue to work and create in Ukraine. What Ukrainian designers and their teams demonstrate goes far beyond resilience. It is strength, faith in the future and a clear understanding of how to move forward in the reality we live in. It is experience and expertise, guided by intuition and wisdom. Above all, it is an extraordinary dedication to their work,” says Iryna Danylevska, Founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
The season will start with the Ukrainian Fashion Week x white rabbit agency business conference, “New Rules of the Game. Strategies for Resilience and Real Sales 2026/27,” at TSUM Kyiv department store. With a focus on practical solutions, the conference will explore three key areas: sales in Ukraine, international expansion, and the connection between marketing and commercial performance. The programme will address the key challenges the Ukrainian fashion industry faces today — from building sustainable sales and adapting business models to brands’ ability not only to respond to challenges, but to continue growing despite them.
At the heart of the season is the Behind the Craft exhibition, dedicated to Ukrainian crafts and their contemporary reinterpretation by Ukrainian designers. Tracing the journey from tradition to contemporary design, the exhibition presents craftsmanship and artisanal techniques not as a tribute to the past, but as tools for innovation and the preservation of identity. Curated by Maria Gavryliuk and Natalia Kamenska, co-founders and creative directors of GUNIA Project, Behind the Craft will feature more than 70 looks and objects, inviting a broader conversation about craft, its potential and its future.
Bringing UFW SS27 to a close will be the final of the 27th Young Fashion Designers Contest, “Look into the Future. New Forms of Reality,” on the main runway. At a time of extraordinary challenges, strong institutional support, reinforced by a committed professional community, has become crucial for young designers at the beginning of their careers. The competition continues its mission to discover and support emerging talent, creating an environment where a new generation of designers can grow, build their brands and shape their future in Ukraine while becoming part of the global fashion landscape.
