Urban Outfitters is teaming up with website platform Squarespace to offer a start-up fund of 20,000 dollars to an independent designer or entrepreneur through its ‘Dreamers and Doers Start-up’ contest.

The fashion and lifestyle retailer is looking to support an emerging artist, designer or tech innovator by turning their dreams into a reality with a 20,000 dollar start-up fund to help launch their business, as well as provide the winner with an exclusive feature and coverage on the Urban Outfitters website, a two-year subscription to Squarespace, and a mentorship session with a Squarespace pro.

"We're excited for the opportunity to collaborate with Squarespace on this initiative and support young, rule-breaking, creative entrepreneurs -- their self-starting mentality is the cornerstone of the Dreamers + Doers concept and of the Urban Outfitters brand," explains Rachel Albright, Urban Outfitters director of content and curation.

To win, contestants are being asked to create a Squarespace Cover Page for their business and/or portfolio and include a sample of their work. One winner will be selected from a panel of Squarespace and Urban Outfitters judges and will have the opportunity to participate in an Innovation Panel at the 2015 Northside Festival.

The ‘Dreamers and Doers’ contest runs until April 20 and the winner will be announced on May 4.
