Andy Comer, who has held stints at Nordstrom, GQ, and Gilt Groupe, has joined Tommy Bahama as Vice President of Creative Services. Comer will be based in Tommy Bahama's Seattle headquarters where he will report to Rob Goldberg, Tommy Bahama's Vice President of Marketing. Comer will be overseeing Tommy Bahama's creative brand strategies, visuals, and messaging across all channels including men's, women's, wholesale, retail, e-commerce, licensing, and restaurants.

He will also oversee seasonal photo shoots, store design, media campaigns, and direct-to-consumer materials to build a consistent message across all their media. In a statement Goldberg said Comer's "diverse background of digital, media and retailing with some of the world’s most iconic brands fits nicely with Tommy Bahama’s long-term plans and initiatives. Andy’s keen sense of the marketplace, coupled with his original style, will undoubtedly help him be successful in this role. A lifestyle brand with the kind of depth and breadth that Tommy Bahama enjoys takes unique creative skills to manage and we couldn’t be more pleased to have Andy join our team.”

Comer's most previous role was as creative director of men's and women's shoes at Nordstrom where he oversaw all aspects of digital, print, and in-store visual expression for those categories. He says his goal at Tommy Bahama is to create "a cohesive and compelling guest experience. This will mean evolving the look, tone, and feel of Tommy Bahama’s communications and aligning our messages around stories that help and inspire our customers.”
