Burlington Coat factory adds to board of directors

Mary Ann Tocio, the former president and chief operating officer of Bright Horizons Family Solutions Inc., has been added to the board of directors for Burlington Stores Inc. Bright Horizons Family Solutions Inc. is a U.S. based childcare provider and is the largest provider of employer-sponsored child care. Her appointment to the board of directors is Burlington's attempt to ensure they had experts across all fields.

In a statement, the retailer said they now have "nine members with significant experience across the financial, retail, marketing and consumer products sectors."

Tocio spent 23 years at Bright Horizons before retiring in 2015. Prior to her role at Bright Horizons, she held several executive positions at Wellesley Medical Management Inc.
