A little month after the merger leading of online retailer's Yoox and Net-a-Porter, comes the departure of two directors from the newly formed entity Yoox Net-a-Porter.
Ian Tansley, managing director of the Group's men's wear fashion arm, Mr. Porter, and Stephanie Phair, president of luxury discount site The Outnet, both left their respective roles at the company this week, with immediate effect. Both positions have been filled by managers from within the Group.
Shira Suveyke, vice president and purchasing director of The Outnet, and Andres Sosa, sales and marketing manager of the site, will jointly take on Phair position as president at The Outnet. Toby Bateman, who first joined the team at Net-a-Porter as purchasing director in 2010, will replace Tansley as managing director at Mr. Porter. Yoox Net-a-Porter has also appointed Naomi Hewitt as head of human resources and Adrian Evans, former director of merchandising at Mr. Porter as head of merchandising for both Net-a-Porter and Mr. Porter.
The newly formed Group has gone through a number of management changes since news of the merger was first announced, as analysts to imply that the two corporate cultures from the company's are not meshing as well as hoped. Net-a-Porter founder and former executive chairman Natalie Massenet left the company in September, as Yoox founder Federico Marchetti took over the helm as CEO of the new company. Marchetti appointed Alison Loehnis as Group President of Net-a-Porter Group.
