Hugo Boss: Head of innovation departs

Christian Kuhn, head of innovation at Hugo Boss, has left the Metzingen-based fashion group to take on a new role outside of the fashion industry.

Kuhn joined Hugo Boss in February 2022 from the German automotive group Mercedes-Benz AG to “build and lead innovations in products, technology, partnerships and new business models,” the manager stated in a Linkedin post last week announcing his departure. During his time at the company, his work led him from “AI-powered design and customisation to connected experiences, sustainable materials, circularity and venture building.”

Shortly after, Kuhn announced in another post that he would be leaving not only Hugo Boss, but the industry as well. Since the beginning of the month, he has been working as vice president of AI customer experiences, digital products and services for the Finnish consulting and technology company Futurice in Stuttgart.
